All about the Happy Himalayan Village – Harsil Group Trip.

When the snow-capped mountains, blue waters, meadows and quaint little hamlets start making an impression in your mind, it is always one which is pristine or heavenly. You have an urge to make that instant move to visit such a place and savour the whole experience first-hand.

But what if you were told that there could still be a place that may have skipped your attention so far, that there exists heaven that even the best of the explorers may not have truly discovered? We take you on a journey to one such magical place nestled amidst the mountains. Located in a remote part of the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, this heaven on earth is called “HARSIL”.

We will visit a place called Dharali and stay at a homestay made with natural building technique.

Day 1 Leave Dehradun to Dharali

We start from Dehradun to Dharali at 6 am sharp.
Reach the village by noon. You get greeted by the porters on the main road and you walk 1km to reach the home you are going to stay for the next 3 nights.

Enjoy the place and immerse in the beauty of the place. We shall end the day in recluse with mellow music and a sumptuous dinner.
Day 2 Visit Garatang Gali

Start with an exciting day. Visit one of the oldest trade routes finding its links to the ancient Silk Route from China. A serene tourist destination which will capture your imagination of the glorious past of the Himalayan belt
Day 3 Experience Happiness

Wake up to the birds chirping and the pitter-patter of the raindrops. Halt at this moment and think of the happiest moments in your life. Start your day with a trek to Sattal.

This day will be an experience of a mesmerising exercise in the form of a trek through the Sat Tal ( Literal translation: Seven Lakes). It is just bliss sitting by these lakes, catching glimpses of the famous Trout fishes in them. You might not be able to see all of them, but whatever shall catch your eye shall be worth the myriad steps are taken uphill. Snacks and dinner as usual.

If there is snow and one is not willing to do the trek ( we will do Village tour, Gangotri Darshan and Lanka Bridge)

Return and Stay overnight.
Day 4 Leave with Memories

Get up and enjoy the lazy afternoon. Take a breath of fresh air before you leave.

Leave for Dehradun after the heavy breakfast around 10 am.
Reach Dehradun by 5 pm.
